Salt Lake Valley transit: plan from the actual addresses
Use the origin, destination, day, and arrival time in UTA's live tools, then recheck the fare and service alerts before leaving.

Start with the two street addresses, the day of travel, and the time you need to arrive. Do not build the trip around a remembered route number or transfer. UTA keeps schedules and maps, fares, riding guidance, customer service, and service alerts as separate live checks.
The Transit app can compare available public-transport options from an entered destination, show trip details, provide real-time tracking and alerts, and connect UTA modes in one itinerary. Open the full itinerary before relying on it. A route name alone does not tell you the walking segment, transfer point, or whether the trip fits the required arrival time.
For example, someone leaving Millcreek for a medical appointment in Murray should enter the clinic address, not just the city name, and plan backward from check-in time. Save the stop names and transfer, but treat the result as a plan to recheck rather than a promise of arrival.
Regular FAREPAY local trips currently cost $2.50, capped at $5 per day and $20 per calendar week. The calendar week runs Sunday through Saturday. Regular premium charges are capped at $10 per day and $40 per week. FAREPAY riders must tap on and tap off. Open the live fare page again before loading a card or choosing a payment method.
Check the service-alert page shortly before leaving. UTA separates rail, bus, and flex-route alerts and offers route-specific notices through the Transit app, text, or email. A saved trip can still be affected by a detour, disruption, schedule change, snow routing, or holiday service.
Before the trip, open the itinerary again, confirm the first stop and transfer, check the fare branch you will use, and read the alerts for every route in the trip. If timing is tight, leave room for the walking and transfer portions instead of treating the scheduled arrival as guaranteed.
