The short version

You can read Utah Porch without an account. The site does not ask for your name or email unless you choose to send feedback and include an optional reply address. Its custom outcome measurements are designed to record only aggregate actions, never raw search text, calculator entries, feedback content, or visitor identifiers.

Site delivery and security

Cloudflare may process connection, device, and security information needed to deliver and protect the site. Those infrastructure records are controlled by Cloudflare under its own policies. Utah Porch does not receive a reader account from Cloudflare.

Aggregate outcome measurements

Cloudflare Web Analytics may provide domain-level traffic totals. When the custom outcome service is configured, it accepts only an allowed event name, the page pathname without its query string, a broad category, and a count. It does not set a Utah Porch analytics cookie or write an IP address, user agent, search phrase, calculator value, email address, or stable visitor ID to that dataset.

The browser-side outcome service runs only on the production Utah Porch hosts and stops when Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is enabled.

Cloudflare documents a three-month retention period for data stored in Workers Analytics Engine.

Feedback

The feedback form sends the note type, message, page context, submission time, and any optional reply email to a private mailbox through Resend. Cloudflare Turnstile checks the submission for spam. The endpoint temporarily derives a one-way rate-limit key from connection and browser headers; raw IP and browser values are not placed in the feedback email.

Resend documents 30-day retention for email data across standard plans. A delivered copy is also stored by the private mailbox provider until Richard deletes it under the retention practice below.

There is no fixed automated deletion schedule for delivered feedback. Messages are deleted when they are no longer reasonably needed to answer a note, document a correction, protect the service, or meet a legal obligation.

Do not send Social Security numbers, account or claim numbers, private financial details, or sensitive personal advice requests.

External links and service providers

Official-source links and other external sites have their own privacy practices. The services used for delivery, security, analytics, and feedback may include Cloudflare and Resend. The private mailbox provider also stores delivered feedback. Its provider name and mailbox address are not published because the feedback form is the public contact route.

Privacy requests

Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights concerning personal data. Utah residents can review Utah Code Chapter 13-61 and the Utah Attorney General's UCPA overview. Send an access, correction, deletion, or other privacy request through the feedback form.

Children

Utah Porch is a general-audience information site and is not directed to children under 13. If Richard learns that a child under 13 submitted personal information, he will delete it promptly after any legally permitted one-time response, or promptly without responding. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent personal information should use the feedback form. General federal guidance is available from the Federal Trade Commission.

Contact

Richard oversees Utah Porch. The public contact route is the feedback form; no public email address is offered. Use Send feedback.
